Introduction

     Hello all, I'm new to the community, as well as Dreamwidth, though I have had an LJ for years. Recently, I'd been thinking of setting an account here for writing purposes, and so I did. I was working on something completely unrelated when the CM bug bit me, and bit me hard. As in, watched all seven seasons of the show obsessively, and on repeat, hard. (And of course, I'm watching season 8 now). I thought that would be that, but then I had this urge to write. More specifically, to write for CM. But I don't know anyone in the fandom. At all. And so, here I am.

Looking for: Beta-readers

     At present, I am looking for a special person (or a few special people). A beta-reader/editor/cheerleader type of person. And I'm... kind of really picky about how I like things done. I tend to prefer having two, and even three beta-readers rather than just the one. I like colour-coding notes, such as red for corrections, purple for comments, green for suggestions (or something like that) and all notes and changes must be in parentheses, not just changed from the text itself. I value people who will give concrit without worrying about offending me or my ego (I'd rather know that something could be better than just be unsure whether "it's great" actually means it is great, or just passably okay). And like all artistic-type people, I need to feel like people actually give a damn about what I do, so someone who'll check on progress and will push a bit when needed would be awesome. I speak a few different languages, and sometimes they get a bit mixed up in my head, so be aware that sometimes, you might need to ask me to explain what I mean by certain phrases, that I might have just written down thinking it's totally an English saying or something, but turns out not to make sense in English at all. ;; Also, I'm not American so I tend not to use American spelling, but if you are, that's okay with me. So long as you know why I stick all these random Us in there, lol.

     I've just written a chapter of something that will hopefully be a multi-chapter AU story. But I'm not going to post it anywhere until someone's had a look at it. So hopefully someone responds to this little ad. Said story is as of yet untitled (help to find a title also very much appreciated, btw), but it's a Sci-Fi AU that will have slash as a main pairing (Morgan/Reid), and het and femslash as side pairings (as of yet undetermined, but there will probably be past Morgan/Prentiss cause that'd be hot as hell). Rating will... be very high. I tend to like writing explicit scenes. But it will not happen tomorrow as I also like it very much when stories progress slowly. I already have a rough idea of things that I want to have happen in my fic, but not all of it, and not the actual ending. I'm always open to suggestion, too, so whoever helps me with the beta-reading can suggest their kink or pairing (actually, anyone can, but they'd get first dib).

Looking for: RP partners

     I'm also looking for RP partners to play with over IM. I like third person, past tense text over script/action style. Definitely like the sexy and the angst, and I have entirely too much time on my hands. Which is why, though the person who first got me into the fandom does RP with me, I'd like to play with maybe a couple of other people so I don't end up hounding her 24/7. I have a weird, constantly changing schedule, but when I'm awake and at home, I am online. I play Reid and Garcia in the RP with my friend, and I write from Morgan's POV (still third-person though) in my fic. My main pairing is definitely Morgan/Reid, but I'm not adverse to trying new things.

     It is nice to meet you all, and as someone who is entirely new to the fandom, I'm pretty excited about joining your community. Cheers!
